Service Area & Travel Fees
TLC Pet and Home Services joyfully serves the beautiful Sisters, Oregon area! A round-trip mileage fee of $1.25 per mile is added to all services, calculated from our home base in Tollgate to yours. If your driveway is steep, unpaved, or a little on the wild side, a small additional fee may apply to account for extra time or vehicle wear.

Key & Paperwork Fee
Need to exchange keys or paperwork outside of your initial consultation or scheduled visit? No problem! There’s a $25 fee per trip (plus mileage).
Want to skip the fee? You can!

  • Or drop off/pick up keys and paperwork by appointment at our Tollgate location — always free!

Holiday Rates
The holidays are a busy time for everyone.
All rates increase by 50% on the following holidays:
• Memorial Day Weekend
• Independence Day (and adjacent weekend, if applicable)
• Labor Day Weekend
• Thanksgiving & the following Friday/weekend
• Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
• New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

Holiday bookings require a 100% non-refundable deposit to secure your spot during these high-demand dates.

Bookkeeping Services

Description

The Owner of TLC Pet and Home Services (Patty) is a retired Accountant with dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Business Management and Accounting (as well as a Master’s Degree in Education) and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Patty is happy to assist clients with personal bookkeeping and financial organization at a very high-end level, including setting up automatic payments, reconciling bank accounts, and establishing a filing system.

Rates

$40 per hour for personal finance and $50 per hour for business bookkeeping
(30 minute minimum and then billed in 15-minute increments)


Errand Services

Running errands can be time consuming and difficult. Think of our errand service like your own personal concierge. We can perform daily tasks for you or take you to complete them yourself. Whatever the task, let our caregivers help you check it off your list.

Our errand services can include just about any task you need to complete. Your errand list might look something like this:

  • Mail a package

  • Deliver supplies

  • Drop off dry cleaning

  • Pick up prescriptions

  • Return items to the store

  • Personal shopping

  • Car washes

$40 per hour
(one-hour minimum and then billed in 15-minute increments)


Respite Care

Respite care refers to temporary care of an aging loved one. Usually this service gives family caregivers a break from their daily responsibilities to go tend to other needs, like errands or personal business. It also provides family caregivers the opportunity to strengthen themselves and return to caregiving refreshed.

  • Light housekeeping

  • Transportation

  • Personal care

  • Errand services

  • Companionship

  • Medication reminders

$40 per hour
(one-hour minimum and then billed in 15-minute increments)


Companion Care

The purpose of companionship care is to offer company and friendship. Companions may help with certain household chores, such as laying out towels before a shower, but their primary purpose is to spend time with the patient. Grown children may want to hire companions to keep an eye on their aging parents, for example. Some of the services offered by companionship care include:

  • Transportation

  • Reading a book aloud

  • Playing games

  • Accompanying the patient for a walk outside

  • Letter writing

  • Monitoring the home

$40 per hour
(one-hour minimum and then billed in 15-minute increments) 


Homemaking

Think of homemaking as an addition to companionship care. With a homemaker, patients will receive all the benefits of a companion—such as transportation—but with added bonuses. Homemaking extends to include tasks such as cooking, cleaning and even grocery shopping. Some of the services offered by homemaking include:

  • Laundry

  • Cooking

  • Taking out the garbage

  • Light housekeeping

  • Organization

  • Respite care

$40 per hour
(one-hour minimum and then billed in 15-minute increments)

CANCELLATION POLICIES:

Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking services if the start of services is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least eights days before the start of services. No refunds for cancellations made within seven days of the first day of services. Please understand that I have a strict cancellation/refund policy for a reason … I provide very high-level care for your pet and/or home with professionalism and great attention to detail. In return, I ask for a high-level of commitment from my clients to protect my time by not cancelling services and requesting a refund after I’ve reserved that time for them. Because I only take limited clients at a time in my home, can provide overnight stays for only one client at a time and can provide only a limited amount of drop-in visits/walks per day, I have to turn down other clients once your reservation is made. Please don’t make a reservation with me for services if this cancellation policy is not acceptable to you.

PAYMENT POLICY

Payment in full is due at the time of reservation of services via Venmo or Zelle (associated fees paid by Customer). Invoices will be provided via email with payment instructions. All services must be paid for in advance of the service date. All refunds will be issued via Venmo or Zelle within 24 hours of notice of cancellation of services.
